Sometimes I look like Marilyn Monroe.

Sitting in the garden and enjoying the warmth of the sunshine whilst listening to the birds innocently singing away in the trees. An idyllic introduction to the weekend and, although my daily blog post is late today, I feel obliged to feature a swim suit.

From (link below *).

The Marilyn-Classic 1950s style one-piece White Swimsuit featuring firm tummy control, under bust support band, soft shaped foam cups, side stays and halter straps (tie). The swimsuit has a skirted front and full brief to the back with a ruched body and gathered bust. It is Lycra lined in “flesh” coloured lining, has no wires and supports up to an F cup with SPF50+ protection. Priced at £72.00.

As a footnote my mother led me to believe that, as a young woman in the 1930s, white swimsuits were banned from public swimming pools as they were looking on as being indecent; particularly with the prospect of transparency when wet!
